Library and information services
Moruya Library will reopen on Monday 17 December - two weeks later than expected - due to unforeseen construction delays. Council will hold a pop-up library service at the front of the library from Monday 3 December to Saturday 15 December.
Patrons will be able to borrow and return books from the pop-up service, however to ensure everyone has access to books during this period, borrowing will be limited to four items per person.
Our libraries at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are free to join for people who live, work or study in Eurobodalla.
Library members can:
- access our large collection of books, audiobooks, e-books and e-audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, newspapers
- use the internet at the libraries
- use their library card to access electronic research databases online.
We can also help you find specialist material from other libraries including community language books, academic publications and research material.
Events at the library
We host a range of activities and events at our libraries that everyone is welcome to attend.
Each library has weekly children's story time during school terms, book launches, workshops, school holiday programs, artist and author talks, exhibitions and much more.
Mayors Writing Competition
We host this annual competition to encourage people aged 5 to 18 who live in Eurobodalla to get writing!
