Eurobodalla Shire Council is committed to supporting a healthy and active community. We run a range of programs to encourage and enable healthy lifestyles, and we advocate for local sport, recreation and special interest groups in Eurobodalla.

Swimming pools

Our swimming centres at Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are open from mid-September to March. They are managed by Community Aquatics Pty Ltd.

8 popular swimming beaches are patrolled every day during the summer school holidays. Outside the summer holidays, these beaches are patrolled on weekends and public holidays from September to April.

Council's Community Activity Trailer is available to book free of charge for community groups, schools and organisations. It can be used for educational programs, community events and is also a great resource for team building exercises and staff training days.

Eurobodalla Sports Forum

We host a quarterly meeting for local sports clubs and groups to network with each other, find out about grants and training opportunities, get updates on sportsground works, and give your feedback about how Council can help your group.
