Water, waste and recycling
Water and sewer
Eurobodalla Shire Council has five sewage treatment plants that operate under environmental licenses granted by the NSW Environmental Protection Authority. We also provide water saving programs and incentives to help water customers save water and money.
Council provides a green waste, general waste and recycling bin to local residents who live in the Eurobodalla's waste collection service area.
We run annual Hardwaste Junk Collection across Eurobodalla between July to September each year and is followed by the annual chemical cleanout where you can drop off your hazardous chemicals at our pick up stations in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma.

Waste management facilities
We operate three tips at Surf Beach, Brou and Moruya. Each facility accepts general and green waste, and recycling. TVs, computers and computer products (printers, scanners, keyboards) are accepted at these facilities for free.
As a transfer station, the Moruya facility has smaller load limits and is also not able to accept mattresses and some other items.
Illegal dumping and waste minimisation programs
Council monitors illegal dumping in Eurobodalla and we offer a range of waste minimisation programs to help people reduce waste and greenhouse gas emissions in landfill.
